Do You Know How Prosperous You Are!?!

We’ve seen the articles regarding the struggles of millennials after college, the difficulty they’ll face in receiving employment, the hardships they’ll encounter as married couples…and the list goes on and on. The amount of negativity focused towards this particular age group is ridiculous! I understand that information is powerful but, can we have a little hope for this generation?!…I’m a reader, so when I see an interesting article that can potentially give helpful information towards savings and lifestyle, I’m immediately intrigued. But lately the Holy Spirit’s been moving me away from anything that can hinder my focus and faith in God’s ability regarding my finances and life. Even to the point of my conversation…which I’m still growing in…but the Holy Spirit reminds me to reject any thoughts or feelings of lack. I know, that can be hard at times because the first thing you want to do (your flesh) is talk about how bad something isn’t working, you’re not making enough money, and how you not only need a raise but deserve one. I understand completely! I constantly HAVE to remember and believe these three tips:

      1. God will Supply ALL my needs!

Depend on God to supply your needs. Philippians 4:19 (NIV), “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus”.  The word “needs” in this scripture means to demand or request to be filled. Many of us believe this scripture but fail to present our request to God, and wonder why our request aren’t filled. Well it’s our responsibility to put the request in and believe that we’ll receive what we’ve asked…that’s faith. There’s an abundance in heaven, and we’re given access when we believe. It’s simple, pray believe, receive, and execute action…no doubting, just believe! When there’s no job, bank accounts on empty, the baby needs a pair of shoes, and the light bill’s due too, you BELIEVE God and reject fear!

BElieve for growth and see yourself living a life of abundance without fear.

      2. Refuse to Fear when circumstances indicate Failure

Fear is not from God! The enemy loves to attack our mind, which is why you have to get in the word daily. Deny the enemy of any access to your thoughts, for you have the authority and walk by faith! Remember, caste your cares on the Lord, and let Him handle your problems. Isaiah 41:10 (MSG), “Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you”. So in the mist of every situation, remember that God is with you and He will not allow you to fall or fail. He’ll even equip you with the tools and information needed to overcome, for through God’s word, you are prosperous!

 You are prosperous, BE prosperous!

      3. You prosper in ALL that you do!…BElieve it!

God wants us to be prosperous at everything we do. It’s important that we not only know this but BElieve it! God speaks through His word and tells us how He wants us to be prosperous. Psalms 37:27 (NLV) “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant”. God’s word is faithful and He tells us to say this continuously. It’s not enough to just read the word, you’ve got to speak it as well. Speak the word daily! Everything we want is in the word, so meditate and keep the word in your mouth. Speak To your problem and less About it. Find a scripture that relates to what you’re believing, stand on it, speak it, and execute faith and action behind it. And most importantly, thank God in advance that you’ve received it! Thanks for reading #BeProsperous and #SimplyBe
