Choices and More Choices

I’m talking to my single people again. It’s funny, I feel like I can’t get way from the topics of relationships. We’ve all had the perfect image of what our husband or wife may be. Even to the point that we try and pursue, or be pursued by people who carry these “idealistic” traits. However, that “ideal” vision that you have for your mate doesn’t always match God’s vision.

But you have to remember that He alone is the perfect match maker, and the relationship that God has for you is better than your eyes could ever imagine.

According to Corinthians 2:9: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love Him”…and I think it’s time we start seeing and believing what God has for us!

I know, it sounds easy and can be easily said, but this does require a little work. This requires you surrendering your will to God, and constantly putting yourself in a place to not only listen; but receive from the Holy Spirit. Thankfully, through the Holy Spirit you have the power and authority to recognize what your natural eyes or mind can’t. You have the power to see what’s good and bad, especially in regards to relationships.

If you really want something real, then it’s important to understand that everyone who comes in your life is not equipped or instructed to be connected to you.

The purpose of every relationship can be shown through the Holy Spirit. John 16:13 says that the Holy Spirit first obtains its authority from God, therefore, it doesn’t instruct you to do anything on it’s own. The Holy Spirit always checks in with God to not only tell you what to do, but to also give clear instructions. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and don’t be afraid to use Him. He helps us make wise decisions that aren’t just “okay” or “aight” but the BEST!

On a daily basis we are required to make decisions, but stop trying to make them on your own. Trust the Holy Spirit to come through with the wisdom you need that’s not just good but Godly. Continue to seek Godly relationships, so you can not only win but be victorious. I just heard someone say, “God will show you what way to go, where to stay, and when to run away.” And it’s so true! Trust God and His word in your life. He’ll lead you not only to the right relationship but the right mate. Thanks for reading and #SimplyBE.
